Chantel L. Partee, 40, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital.

She was born in Defiance on December 24, 1985 to Rick and Heidi (Bowers) Partee. Chantel was a 2002 graduate of Defiance High School and was a member of Defiance Eagles #372. She worked at Campbell's Soup Company for several years, and most recently she worked at the Defiance Eagles. She loved spending time with her girls. Chantel will be greatly missed by her family and many good friends.

Chantel is survived by her parents, Heidi and Rick L. Partee Sr. of Defiance, her daughters, Ashanti Partee, Amariana Murdock, and Rosanna Urbina, her brother, Ricky Partee Jr., and grandparents, Sandy and Tom Unger.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, James and Helen Partee.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home, with Rev. Mike Hasselbring officiating. Chantel will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
