Donald E. Mendenhall, born October 21, 1957, in Findlay, Ohio, will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him.
Donald will be lovingly remembered by his children, Nicholas (Danielle) Mendenhall and Donald Mendenhall, Bryce Mendenhall as well as Samantha Vining.
Donald graduated from Defiance High School and later attended Miami University. He found enjoyment in the simple pleasures of life, including fishing, reading, and watching football. He especially enjoyed cheering for the New England Patriots and Ohio State football.
Donald was the son of William T. and Phyllis (Guyer) Mendenhall and a cherished brother to Tom (Kerry) Mendenhall and Julie (Keith) Belau. His family will hold close the memories of the time they shared with him and the lasting place he held in their lives.
As a father, brother, and friend, Donald was someone who will be remembered for the special place he held in the lives of those around him. He cared deeply for his family and valued the connections he made throughout his life. His children, siblings, and friends will remember the conversations, laughter, shared interests, and everyday moments that made their time with Donald meaningful.
Until we meet again, we can picture Donald with his fist held high in the air-a final reminder of his strength, his spirit, and the memories he leaves behind. We’ll carry him in our hearts, look for him in the moments that bring us a smile, and know that this is not goodbye forever, but simply “until we meet again.”
Forever loved and remembered.
