Skyyea Amber Kessinger, 31, of Archbold, Ohio, peacefully passed away at her home on Monday, September 14, 2026, surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 3, 1995 to Kendavid and Kerrie (Barker) Kessinger in Toledo, Ohio. Skyyea was a 2015 graduate of Four County Career Center. She enjoyed writing stories and collecting stuffed animals, especially unicorns. Skyyea loved music and attending concerts, and she was a huge fan of Anime. She will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.

Skyyea is survived by her loving mother, Kerrie Kessinger, her siblings, Starr Kessinger, Cheyenne Shull and Kendavid Shull. She was preceded in death by her father, Kendavid Kessinger Sr., paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, Aunt Tamilee Perry, her cousin Zena Parrish, and a close family friend, Sabrena Shull.

A Memorial Gathering for Skyyea will be held Friday, September 18, 2026 from 1:00 pm till 5:00 pm at the Ritter Park Shelter House 1130 West Riverview Avenue Napoleon, Ohio. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
