Edward M. Sheehan, 64, of Defiance, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Mercy Hospital of Defiance.  
  
He was born on September 20, 1951 to Edward and Rose  (Metevia)  Sheehan in Bay City, Michigan. On May 29, 1976 he married Anne (Kloha) Sheehan, who resides in Defiance. Edward worked for General Motors in Defiance, and was a member of UAW Local #211.  He enjoyed "tinkering around",  painting and working on cars, and taking care of his horse. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his son and grandchildren. Edward was a real man of faith.
  
Edward will be greatly missed by his wife Anne of Defiance, father Edward R. Sheehan of Roseville, MI, mother Rose DePrekel of Bay City, MI, son Trevor Sheehan (Lyn Moore) of Defiance, granddaughter Makayla Sheehan, grandson Gannon Sheehan, brothers Daniel J. (Barbara) Sheehan of Bay City, MI, and Steven R. (Candy) Sheehan of Elk Grove, CA, sister Christine (James) Gabriel of Freeland, MI, sister-in-laws Teresa Butler of Saginaw, MI, and Diana (Alfred) Sacco of Brooklyn, NY, brother-in-laws Todd (Katie) Keating of Polk, Ohio, and Roger (Gladys) Boman of California, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his in-laws Don and Helen Kloha.
