Wesley was a friend of the family. He knew my grandfather Edward Ankney Jr. "Jim" very well. He even would visit me when I worked at Meijer.

I remember Kite from my childhood. He and Connie lived next door in the Fuller's house on W. High St. I babysat lil' Stevie once in awhile. I remember one day he was outside with Stevie. A motorcycle was broken down at the bottom of the hill. Kite was standing there watching the man struggle to get the bike going. He asked Ellen Meine and I to watch Stevie and he ran down the hill to help. They walked the bike back up to his house and Kite helped get it running again. An act of kindness for a stranger. He was a nice man. I remember him fondly. So very sorry for your loss.

we are so sorry for the passing of your husband and father. May the joy of the Lord sustain you during this time of sorrow and give you strength. We always got a kick out of him. We didn't have the pleasure of knowing him for a long time, but we did have the pleasure of just knowing him. Call on us Connie if you need a shoulder or anything.
