My sorrows are with all of you. I am so very thankful I was able to know this man, as my Uncle. Words of sadness fills me as I know he lays to rest peacefully today. I will not be there with you. Sad that I will not get to hug each of you, Steven, Greg, and Kevin, and also Jason. I have so many wonderful happy memories I have of Uncle Victor. He being a sponsor of my baptism, he and I had a good relationship. Both my children, James and Caitlyn have grown up knowing Great Uncle Victor. Good memories that they will have to pass on.
. I know, he knows I loved him. I would tell him every time I would see him, or we would visit. The awesome thing, he was able to say He loves me back. What an awesome gift! I am so blessed to have had this man in my life. So many memories that will be cherished in many hearts.. l send you comfort, and peace in your hearts. Truly Yours, Ann

May God give you HIs Peace and Comfort with the passing of your father/grandfather.
I appreciated your dad and Philip James sending me information about the Lichtenwald genealogy, and also that much of their information was complied for the 100th Anniversary of Grandpa and Grandma LIchtenwald coming to America in 1909. My dad was Jacob Lichtenwald brother to Aunt Eva. I also was able to attend Uncle Carl's funeral in Phoenix.
Many thanks for the services our armed forces provided for America.
