Pennies from Heaven

I found a penny today
just laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny
this little coin I found.
Found pennies come from Heaven
That's what my Grandpa said to me.
He said Angels tossed them down.
Oh, how I loved that story!
He said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down,
sometimes to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.
So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue.
It maybe a penny from Heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you!

If roses grow in Heaven

If roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother's arms
And tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is so easy,
I do it everyday,
But there's an ache within my heart,
Because I miss her every minute
That we're apart.

Tracy and Family-
I received the news of your Mother's passing and I'm truly sorry for your loss. Phyllis was always very kind to me whenever I visited and I always LOVED it when she would cook for us when you/I would straggle in after a day of messing around with cars. You all have my deepest condolences and I wish you, Tom, Tammy and especially Lewis peace during this difficult time. You family is in my prayers.
