Marjorie B. Miller, 85, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Kingsbury House in Defiance.  
  
She was born on June 4, 1930 to Dewey and Beulah (Partee) Schlosser in Defiance. On October 26, 1967 she married Charles Miller, who resides in Defiance. Marjorie worked as a cook at General Motors for several years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance. Marjorie wrote poetry and music. She loved to play the keyboard, accordion, and banjo. Music was a large part of everyday life. At family reunions with 200 to 300 people, jam sessions were a common occurrence. Marjorie and Charles enjoyed traveling to Canada to fish and relax. She enjoyed crocheting, doing puzzles and crosswords, reading, and playing euchre and poker.
  
Marjorie will be sadly missed by her loving spouse of 48 years, husband Charles Miller of Defiance, children; Kathy DiBenedetto of Norwood, Massechusetts,  Tom (Shelley) McNutt of Fayette, Ohio, Timothy (Ako) Kojoma of Dublin, Ohio, Robert Miller of Montpelier, Ohio, Cindy (Lyle) Sizemore of Holland, Ohio, Daniel (Connie) Miller and Steve (Javona) Miller, all of Evansville, Indiana, Siblings:, Vivian (Ray) Tack of Jasper, Michigan, Dewey "Skip" (Rose) Schlosser of Vilonia, Arizona, Elaine Carpenter of Sherwood, Sandy Joost of Mark Center, Penny (Calvin) Whitfield of Haleyville, Alabama, June (Ron) Crosser of Hicksville, Grandchildren:, Julie Haase, Andrea (Nick) Longenecker, Jennifer Delphous, Brian (Beth) McNutt, Benjamin (Jess) Beardsley, Alisha (Brian) Skeel, Ailalin Kojoma, Corey Miller, Michelle Miller, Joseph (Kristen) Hiler, Ashley Hiler, Justin (Eric) Near, Kylene Sizemore, Jared Sizemore, Candace Miller, Katey Miller, Craig Miller, Chase Miller, and Derek Lunsford, 16 Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Glenda Salisbury, brothers Ted Schlosser, and his wife Pearl Schlosser, James Schlosser, and Donald Schlosser, sisters Joanne Luderman, Betty Mae Schlosser, and Carol Sue Schlosser.
  
Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on  Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church, Defiance, with Rev. Donald L. Luhring officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance.
