Margie F. Hoellrich
September 6, 1940 ~ October 30, 2016 (age 76) 76 Years OldMargie F. Hoellrich, 76, of Holgate, Ohio, died Sunday morning, October 30, 2016 in her home. She was the daughter of Leona (Eding) and Elmer Hoellrich. Margie was born in 1940, graduated from Ayersville High School in 1958, Bowling Green State University in 1962, and devoted the remainder of her life to helping and teaching others. She taught in the Oakwood and Paulding School Systems for 38 years.
She is survived by one brother Lowell Hoellrich, Florida, Ohio and one sister-in-law Lavina Hoellrich, Holgate, Ohio, 16 nieces and nephews, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, a sister, Shirley Gardner, and three brothers, Lester, Melvin, and Arthur Hoellrich.
Margie was a member of Emanuel's Christian Church in New Bavaria. She loved traveling, the arts, gardening, and serving others. She also devoted her time to Hospice, Meals on Wheels, and the Women’s Guild of Emanuel's Christian Church. Family and friends describe her as kind, nurturing, spiritual, devoted, and a great friend.
Friends and family may honor Margie’s life at Schaffer Funeral Home anytime between 3:00 and 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2016, and one hour prior to the 11:00 am service at Schaffer Funeral Home on Friday. Rev. Ed Briggeman will officiate. Burial will follow at the Ayersville Cemetery.
