What an example John was. We always called him a backbone of our church. Kind, friendly, man of God. He will be greatly missed. Well done good and faithful servant!

Dear Julie, Dave and girls,
A year ago when I passed through Defiance I wanted to stop at the resthome and visit your Dad. I was hoping to see your Dad and be an encouragement to him. I'm sure I was he was very happy to see me. But actually the opposite happened, he was an encouragement to me.
He was his always self, positive, smiling, encouraging.

My heart goes out to all of you.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your wonderful dad.
What a beautiful soul. He touched the lives of so many including those of us at GlennPark. I will certainly miss the church services he so thoughtfully provided for our residents as well as our staff. John always ensured that everyone had what was needed, and so freely gave his blessings to all. It was a privilege truly to have been blessed to know him and to care for him as well as your momma. He will be so sadly missed, but never forgotten. May you find peace and comfort during this very difficult time. Prayers to all.
Love and God Bless,
The GlennPark Team!
