Sending sympathies, prayers, and Gods blessings to James Martin and family, from Ernie and Sue Tobias. They are currently on vacation and they requested to send this, as I'm their daughter. Thinking, Mr. Martin was one of my dads team mates from Ayersville, winning the state championship in basketball. Hoping I'm correct 😊 May God and His Angels wrap you all in His loving arms.

Uncle Jim was such a special uncle. I always enjoyed seeing him and spending time with him and Aunt Barb. Always a calm, get-it-done presence. He loved travelling to all the fun places to see the world and support his grandkids with all they had going on. I was always amazed at his and Barb's energy! I will miss him.

Time has a way of slipping by. Seems like yesterday that Jim was giving my classmates directions to guide us along our High School lives. Elated to be a part of his teaching and coaching time at Van Wert High School.
My Deepest sympathy to the Family.

I met Jim several years ago when we were camped next to each other at Mohican State Park the week before Labor Day. When he saw my Defiance license plates, he struck up a conversation. His granddaughter Delaney was there that year & he brought her over to meet me & my dog.. I continued run into Jim at Mohican for several years, always the week before Labor Day as we both camped there. I enjoyed conversations with him about Defiance.. My sympathy to all of Jim's family members. I hope wonderful memories help to fill the holes in your hearts.
