Bob was my "Big Brother" when I pledged Delta Tau Delta at Ohio Wesleyan in the fall of 1957, I have thought of Bob often during the course of these many years, though we never connected after Bob'g graduation. Yet, he was a great influence on me and a real fine guy. I wish I had reached out to him and let him know how much he helped in my transition to college. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Dave Hughes

Bonnie and Family, You have my sympathy on Bob's passing. It came on the First Christian Church prayer chain today. I didn't really talk to Bob at our class reunion this year but I did speak to him. I have asked Mary Jo to take part in my service too when the time comes.

To my wonderful Shaw-Lammon family,
Uncle Bob was the most sincere, loving and compassionate human being. He was strong in his faith and he lived it daily through his interactions with anyone who came his way. His warmth and kindness was felt by all who knew him.
Uncle Bob was always there for his patients, staff, friends and family through good times and bad. He was "The Rock" of our family; the great one who was always there to listen and offer strength and support whenever called upon.
My Uncle Bob will greatly missed by all. I am blessed to have had him in my life.

I am blessed to have known Dr Robert Shaw and to be a friend of both him and Bonnie. I enjoyed Bob's smile and our discussions of favorite books to read. I knew his compassion for patients that I observed as a nurse on the Stress Unit at FCHC. We will miss Dr. Robert Shaw at Hope Christian Fellowship where he was a favorite friend of all. The video is beautiful! Dr. Shaw and your family I am so sorry about your dad. He was a wonderful man, doctor and friend. He was my older kids's doctor when the Clinic was still Defiance Clinic many years ago. He was also a wonderful boss back in 1988 when I worked for him and Bonnie. He was definitely loved and will be missed.

My girls were some of Dr. Shaw's first patients in Defiance Clinic.. They continued with him until they outgrew him. Sorry to hear of his passing I was blessed to have Dr. John Shaw as my surgeon before we moved from Defiance.. My condolences go out to all the family.

To my cousins and Aunt Bonnie. I am so saddened by Uncle Bob's passing. He was truly one of my favorite people to talk to. His insight and wisdom were always a comfort and his ability to listen and respond in just the right way was amazing. I will miss him greatly. He was truly a "one of a kind" guy. My love and prayers are with you in this difficult time. I remember his love, as well as all of the love from the Shaw/Lammon family when my Mom passed away in 2014.....it is something I will never forget. To the extended Shaw family, I am so sorry for your loss! I was welcomed into your home so many times, getting to know all of you! Dr. Bob was so kind to me and and other guests, but especially so to Bonnie. I am sorry that I will be out of town this week. I would love to see and hug each one of you.
