To the seamstress extraordinaire!
I celebrate your creative, artistic flair.
Faced with sewing debacles, you bailed me out,
Proving you are the best ‘ole gal without a doubt.
And around that big, old, work table in your dining room,
We shared experiences, stories and laughs and a friendship bloomed.
An afternoon with you was something I eagerly anticipated,
You so freely shared of talents and life lessons, I was captivated.
Miss Della, I will miss you everyday, all day!
And miss your straight forwardness and clever ways
A gracious mentor and a special friend you were to me,
And I would venture to guess many others would heartily agree!

She was the light on a gloomy day. Her laughter was contagious. Her friend ship was the of the most sincere and honest kind. The love we have her and her for us will carry us through these sadden days of missing her and just wanting one more chance to tell her how much we love her. She's in Gods house now where she belongs. Rest in peace....your Indiana family.
