Zachery Daniel Billings

Zachery Daniel Billings, age 27 of Defiance, left his world too soon on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Ohio State Wexley Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.   
  
He was born on June 22, 1997 to Lance and Kimberely (Stephenson) Billings in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Zachery was a 2016 Defiance High School graduate and was a member of the choir and The Marching Band of Class. In his younger years he played Youth Baseball in Defiance. Zachery enjoyed music, gaming, and was a phenomenal artist. He loved to cook and spend time with his family. He was a "people pleaser" and always put others first. Zachery was a wonderful Son and Big Brother and will be sadly missed by his family and many good friends. 
  
Zachery is survived by his loving parents, Lance and Kimberely Billings of Defiance, Twin Sister Ebbie Billings, sister Zoe "Zoe B." Billings, and his Grandfather, Vaughn (Judy) Billings. 
  
He was preceded in death by Grandparents, Bruce (Suzie) Stephenson, Helen J. Billings, and Step-grandmother Carol Stephenson.
  
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 15th at the funeral home, with Pastor Kurt Mews officiating.
  
Memorials are suggested to any Defiance City Park or Nature Preservation Program.
