Wilma Rose Limber, age 91 of Ayersville, peacefully fell asleep in death on Saturday evening, December 13, 2025, surrounded by support and love in her childhood home.
She was born the youngest daughter of the late Earl and Della (Beck) Peck on May 8, 1934 near Pleasant Bend, Ohio.
Wilma married her high school sweetheart, Jack M. Limber on June 29, 1952. Wilma was a member of the Ayersville Community Church. She was the founder of the "Noodle Crew" teaching dozens of fellow workers the family art of making egg noodles that graced hundreds of dinner tables for miles and miles. For decades her holiday cinnamon rolls were lovingly delivered to select homes fresh, and some still warm from the oven. Wilma was quick witted, a singer of short ditties, and never shied away from sharing her strong convictions with anyone who would listen.
Wilma delighted in her life as a homemaker and her happiest years were those spent tending to the needs of raising her 6 children. In her later years, she longed for the noise, clutter and chaos of those times. Wilma will always be remembered as a wonderful mother who allowed each of her children the opportunity to spread their own wings and live the life they desired. She was always available as a sounding board of advice, support, and of course a delicious home cooked meal whenever needed.
Mom is survived by her six children: Jerry (Chris) Limber, Vicki Lamerson, Jim (Wendyne) Limber, Tom Limber, Dan (Kim) Limber and Julie (Pat) Limbacher, 15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and Rachael, her Visiting Angel.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, her parents, her brother Bob Peck, and sister Mildred (Peck) Limber.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Ayersville Community Church. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm at the church with Pastor Jason Vandemark officiating.
Memorials are suggested to Ayersville Community Church or to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences can be given at www.Schafferfh.com
