Veria L. Frank

Veria Louise Frank, 69, of Defiance, Ohio, lost her battle to cancer and passed on October 31st surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Defiance, OH on September 22nd, 1956 to William Stanley Young and Elaine Fay Boyd Young. Graduated from Defiance High School in 1975. Married to Jerome "Jerry" Ernest Kennedy (deceased July 4th, 1991). Met James "Jim" Warren Frank in 1994 and married on July 8th, 2000.

Children of Veria and Jerry: Jeremy William Lowell (Anita) Kennedy of Defiance, OH; and Catherine Nicole (Kory Boggs) Kennedy of Hilliard, OH. Step-Children include: Kerry Lee (Kelly) Frank of Stryker, OH; Alan Christopher Frank of West Unity, OH; Ryan James Frank of Bryan, OH. Grandchildren include: Lowell Jerome Kennedy, Marie Lynn Kennedy, Evan Zeissig, and Jenna Strup (Kerry & Kelly Frank). Siblings: Eugene "Gene" William, Baby Girl Young (deceased prior to birth), James "Jim" David (Veria's Twin). Lifetime Friends: Jackie Williams, Carole Bennett, Becky Saman

Committed to community and social services across Defiance, Williams, Henry, and Fulton counties.

Though the road was long and arduous, Veria never lost faith in God's decisions throughout the process.

Visitation: Tuesday, November 4th at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, OH: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Visitation and Memorial Service: Wednesday, November 5th at Lockport Mennonite Church in Stryker, OH: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with a meal following the Service. Internment will commence afterward at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance, OH.
