Troy L. Hall

Troy L. Hall, age 74 of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Mercy Defiance Hospital.  
  
He was born on April 5, 1947 to Acie and Lena (Bain) Hall in Christiansburg, Virginia. On December 12, 1970 he married Sandra (Miller) Hall, who survives. Troy proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1964 to 1968. He worked at General Motors in Defiance for 37 years until his retirement in 2006. Troy was a member of VFW #3360 and a life member of AmVets #1991. He loved spending time with his family.
  
Troy will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sandy Hall of Defiance, his son, Chad Hall of Defiance, five grandchildren; Kiley Bowling, Harli Hall, Kaytlin Pelland, Brock Beckett, and Acie Hall, five great-grandchildren; Phoenix, Gracelyn, Kingston, Axel and Elle, and his sister, Violet (Leon) Croy. 
  
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Kim Hall, his brothers Robert, Ray, Dan and Lee Hall, and his sister Flora Gallant.
  
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm at the funeral home, with Pastor Lonnie Musgrave officiating. Due to CDC guidelines if you are not fully vaccinated a mask is required to enter the funeral home, and our lounge area will remain closed.
