Terry M. (Bauer) Raines

Terry Mae Raines, 77, of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center surrounded by her loved ones.   

She was born in Defiance, Ohio on October 5, 1948 to the late Vernon and Velma (Osborn) Bauer. Terry was a 1966 graduate of Ayersville High School. She worked at several local factories, and most recently at Defiance Metal Products until her retirement. Terry treasured her time spent with her family. 

Terry is survived by her daughter, Ginger (Kevin) Beyer of Defiance, her grandson, Jase Beyer of Defiance, her special companion, Charles Morris, and sisters-in-law, Lori Bauer and Sandra Bauer. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Clifford and Daniel Bauer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home, with Celebrant Deb Miller officiating.
