Sue Carol (Grimes) Feeney

Sue Carol Feeney, age 88 of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Friday morning, May 2, 2025 at Glenn Park of Defiance.

She was born in Napoleon, Ohio on June 20, 1936 to the late William and Donna Marie (Schafer) Grimes. On December 11, 1961 she married Richard E. Feeney, who preceded her in death on April 29, 2007.

Sue was a member of Bethel Church in Defiance. She liked lighthouses and hummingbirds, and loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Sue is survived by her loving sons, Eugene Feeney, Michael Feeney and Mark (Dawn) Feeney, all of Defiance, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her sisters, Kathleene Musser and Katherine Grimes.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eight siblings and one grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Bethel Church in Defiance. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am at the church, with Pastor Tim Hacker officiating.
