Steven "Joker" William Deany

Steven William Deany, age 71 of Deshler, Ohio, passed into God's loving arms on Monday, September 30, 2024.

He leaves behind his dedicated wife of 23 years, Susan Deany, his beloved children, Steven (Laura) Deany, Ashley Deany and Kristin Derby, his loving granddaughters, Bailey and Carter, his sisters, Katie (Jerry) Bumpus and Patricia Deany, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and his loving dog, "Rocky".

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Leo Deany, and his brother Michael Deany.

Steven was proud to be a member of The Guardians Motorcycle Club, where he was known as "Joker". He leaves behind a legacy of love for his family and his many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home, with Fr. David Cirata officiating.
