Steve Michael Branham

Steve Michael Branham, age 42 of Oakwood, Ohio, passed away on Friday June 27, 2025 at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital.  
  
He was born on April 25, 1983 to Bobby and Ok (Nam) Branham in Defiance, Ohio. He was a 2001 graduate of Defiance High School. Steve was a member of Rock Church in Oakwood. He had a true passion for cooking and was a line cook for the Iron Horse Restaurant in Sherwood, OH. In his leisure time he enjoyed writing music and going to the YMCA. He was an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines and LA Lakers. 
  
Steve is survived by his wife Yuri Toledo of Chicago, parents Bobby and Ok Branham of Oakwood, OH, sisters, Mary (Dave) Lloyd of Defiance, Dottie (Bryan) Stratton of Bryan, and Bobbie Yeo of Portland, OR, three nieces and one nephew. 
  
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home South, Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S. Clinton Street) in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Bobby Branham officiating. Steve will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
