Obituary
Sharon M. "Sheri" Brown, age 63 of Defiance, passed away on Monday evening, June 6, 2022 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born on January 21, 1959 to Edward and Alice (Baringer) Gebhart in Defiance, Ohio. Sheri worked in Quality Control at Johns Manville for 14 years. She enjoyed golfing and sitting on the back deck watching the wildlife. Sheri was an avid animal lover and was particularly fond of her cats. She treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a committed mother and grandmother. Sheri will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Sheri is survived by her mother, Alice Gebhart of Defiance, her significant other, Scott Sanders of Defiance, and her children; Lindsay (Jake) Roose, Christopher Brown, and Allison (Austin Cluckey) Brown, all of Defiance. She also leaves behind five grandchildren; Jackson, Kira, Riley, Zeva and Reagan, her sister, Cathy Eblin of Defiance, and two brothers, Steve (Pam) Gebhart of Defiance, and Alan Gebhart of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Gebhart, and her brother, Jan Gebhart.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
