Rosemary Brady Obituary

Rosemary Ann Brady, 98 years old from Defiance, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025. 
Rosemary was born to William and Cecelia Brady on March 25, 1926, in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated as Salutatorian from Defiance High school. She lived and worked most of her life in Defiance, Ohio. Her work career was spent at Dresser Industries / SK Hand Tool Corporation. She was a lifelong parishioner at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Defiance, Ohio and worked in the church office and food pantry after retiring. 
Rosemary strongly believed in her faith, her family, her career, and her community and was committed to each one of them. Rosemary loved to play cards and hosted a Bridge club at her house regularly. She also loved to travel and enjoyed both national and international destinations, with Norway being her favorite. She lived her last few years in Huron, Ohio, closer to her brother and her nieces and nephews.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents William R. and Cecelia M. Brady, brother Ralph W. Brady, sister-in-law Delores G. Brady and great niece Lea N. Fuller. She is survived by her 5 nieces and nephews Patrick M. Brady (Jude), Aimee L. Rodgers (Guy), Angela R. Jalowiec (Max), Thomas S. Brady (Heather), Regina M. Brady and 21 great nieces and nephews as well as many great-great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on March 11, 2025, at 11:00am preceded by Visitation at the church 10:00am-11:00am.
