Paul K. Meyer

Paul K. Meyer, 74, of Defiance, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance, Ohio.
  
He was born on November 16, 1947 to the late Bernard and Irene (Squires) Meyer in McKeesport, PA. On August 13, 1973 he married Michelle Sharpe who preceded him in death on September 25, 1992.
  
He was a founding member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Defiance. He also worked for 15 years at the Defiance County Senior Center delivering Meals On Wheels, and was an Air Force Veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
  
Paul is survived by his loving sons, Zachary (Katherine) Meyer of Ann Arbor, MI, and Joshua Kemper of Chicago, IL, his grandchildren; Lucy Meyer, Norah Meyer, Trey Kemper, and Jacklynn Kemper, his brothers; Ronald Meyer, Joseph (Darla) Meyer and Richard Meyer, all of Defiance, and his sisters; Linda (Walter) Beham of Lambertville, MI, and Patricia (Terry) Ruch of Defiance. 
  
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
  
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Lee Genter officiating. Military honors will be accorded through the Defiance VFW Post #3360.
