Patsy Ann (Burdue) Myers

Patsy Ann Myers, age 80 of Defiance, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, November 18, 2025 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.   

She was born in Wauseon, Ohio on April 19, 1945 to the late Clyde and Stella (Waxler) Burdue. On October 23, 1987 she married Wayne H. Myers who preceded her in death on January 12, 2023. Patsy was a member of AmVets #1991. She enjoyed drinking coffee and playing pull tabs. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Patsy is survived by her children, Angela (Michael) Sharp of Paulding, OH and Tim Stetter of Perrysburg, OH. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Heather Sharp, Britni Sharp, Tiffany Willmarth, Dustin Willmarth, Lisa Hart and Jaimie Stetter, 18 great-grandchildren, and her long-time friend Margaret Witherspoon. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Myers, daughter Jill Willmarth, twelve siblings, and granddaughter Danielle Willmarth.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 25th at the funeral home. An additional hour of visitation will be held before the service from 10-11. Patsy will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
