Nancy J. Love-Mast

Nancy J. Love-Mast, age 92, of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Glenn Park of Defiance.  
  
She was born on November 21, 1932 to the late Alvin and Mabel (Moore) Love in Columbus, Ohio. Nancy earned her Bachelor's Degree from The Ohio State University. On November 24, 1954 she married Walter J. Mast, who preceded her in death on November 2, 2019. 

Nancy worked as a Funeral Director for Mast & Mock Funeral Home from 1968 to 1988. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, Member and Past President of Defiance College Women's Commission, Past Charter Member, Life Member and Board Member of Defiance Hospital Auxiliary, and Past Officer and Charter Member of St. Paul United Methodist Women.
  
Nancy is survived by her loving children, Kevin (Sherre) Mast of Defiance, Karen Johnson of Ivins, UT, and Alan (Jane) Mast of Traverse City, MI, and her grandchildren, Pierson Mast and Marella Mast of Traverse City, MI.  
  
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, M. Roberta Glenn, and son-in-law Scott Johnson.

All services were private. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements. Nancy was laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
