Nancy E. (Morgan) Friesner

Nancy E. Friesner, age 77, of Lima, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance, Ohio.   
  
She was born on February 7, 1947 in Lima, Ohio. Nancy was a graduate of Lima Sr. High School and earner an EMT degree at Northwest State. She then moved to Florida and earned her degree as a registered nurse. Nancy enjoyed crocheting and was a wonderful cook. She was very faithful and always loved spending time with her family.   
  
Nancy is survived by her sons, Mark Friesner and Matt Friesner, her brothers, Gregg Morgan and Gary Morgan, and her sister, Cheryl (Duane) Ridenour. Linda Ridenour. She also leaves behind four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Dennis Morgan.
  
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home South, Lawson/Roessner Chapel (1753 S. Clinton Street) in Defiance. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 17th at the funeral home, with Pastor Tyson Nofzinger officiating. Nancy will be laid to rest at Riverview Memory Gardens.
