Mery Madglene (Partin) Gollihue

Mery M. Gollihue, 81, of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.

Maggie was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on May 9, 1943 to the late Esaw and Leona (Monhollen) Partin. She was married for several years to James Lee Gollihue, who preceded her in death in 2010.

Maggie treasured her time spent at home with her children. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.

Maggie is survived by her daughter, Tina Acevedo of Defiance, and her grandchildren, Trey Reynolds, Cole Reynolds and Maddie Hasselschwert.
  
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sabrina Gollihue.
  
A private graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
