Obituary
Mary Ann Krauss, age 84 of Defiance, formerly of Napoleon, peacefully passed away Friday June 9, 2023 at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance.
She was born on April 12, 1939 to the late Rueben and Ola (Falor) Watkins in Napoleon, Ohio. Mary Ann was a graduate of Liberty Center High School class of 1957. She married Larry Krauss and they later divorced.
Mary Ann was a faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene in Napoleon. She worked in the office at Campbell Soup Company in Napoleon and for the purchasing agent at Fulton Tubing Company in Archbold. She also worked for Time Warner Cable TV Company for 20 years retiring in 1991. Mary Ann enjoyed traveling, collecting glassware, Boyd's Bears, and antiques. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandsons.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving daughters, Rhonda (Daniel) Gustwiller and Lynette (Ken) Wanemacher, her grandsons Chris (Morgan) Wenner and Jason (Kelly) Wenner, and her great-granddaughter Melanie Wenner.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
At Mary Ann's request, her body will be donated to the University of Toledo Medical College for the advancement of science. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements
