Luzmaria (Cotto) Bok

Luzmaria "Lucy" (Cotto) Bok, age 77 of Defiance, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 19, 1948 to the late Antonio and Luisa (Rivera) Cotto in Cidra, Puerto Rico. On August 25, 2008 she married Myron Bok who survives. Lucy was a Bingo enthusiast and loved her dogs. She had a true passion for animals and always had canine companions. She will be greatly missed.

Lucy is survived by her loving husband, Myron Bok of Defiance, her son, Timmy (Julie) Guerro of Defiance, and daughters, Tammy Savin of Defiance and Cindy Duncan of Grand Rapids, MI, and stepdaughter Jennifer Boyd of Defiance. She also leaves behind her brother David Cotto of Grand Rapids, MI, sisters Margaret Cotto of Grand Rapids, MI, Becky (Mark) Bergman of Cincinnati, OH and Cindy (Lionel) Perez of Brooklyn, OH, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Juan Antonio Rivera, Augustine Cotto, and Danny Cotto.

There will be no services. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
