Louis F. Pracht

Louis F. Pracht, 84, of Paulding, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.   
  
He was born on October 10, 1933 to the late Fred and Caroline (Frank) Pracht in Defiance. On March 1, 1958 he married the love of his life Carol ( Russell) Pracht, who resides in Paulding. Louis proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956.
  
Louis was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Paulding. He worked as an Inspector at Zeller Corporation for over 40 years until his retirement in 1999. Louis enjoyed reading, gardening, watching football, (Go Bucks!) and vacationing along the lakes and oceans. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and attending the activities of his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. 
  
Louis is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carol Pracht of Paulding, daughter, Deborah (Timothy) Ryan of Sylvania, Ohio, son, David (Kelly) Pracht of Paulding, four grandchildren; Elisha (Joel) McNeal, Emilee Ryan, Mesa Pracht, and Dayton Pracht, four great-grandchildren; Silas, Nehemiah, Everleigh, and Ellamae, and several nieces and nephews. 
  
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty  (Virgil) Partee.
  
Visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Church of the Nazarene in Paulding. A Memorial Service to honor his life will follow at 11:00 am at the church. Burial for the family will be private.
