Lisa J. Long

Lisa J. (Schlosser) Long, age 63, of Defiance, passed away on  November 28, 2025 at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.
  
She was born on May 25, 1962 to Tom and Joan (Kittle) Schlosser in Defiance. She was a 1980 graduate of Defiance High School and worked for General Motors in Defiance for 10 years. Lisa was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She was an avid University of Michigan Wolverine fan and Detroit Lions fan. She enjoyed watching football, listening to music, gardening and tending to her plants. She loved the beach. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be missed by many family members and friends.
  
Lisa is survived by her father, Tom Schlosser of Defiance, four children, Travis, Dustyn and Vanessa Cantrell, all of Defiance and Dillon Long of  Paulding, and five grandchildren, BreAnna, Dominic, Megan and Abram Cantrell and Charli Paisley. 
  
She was preceded in death by mother, Joan Schlosser and her brother Chris Schlosser.
  
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. John Catholic Church in Defiance with Fr. John Stites officiating.
