Obituary

Lisa J. Buchenberg, 64, of Deshler, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side after a short battle with liver cancer.
  
She was born on July 16, 1958 in Defiance, Ohio to the late Richard Jackman and Judy McBride. On July 11, 2002 she married the love of her life Jerry Buchenberg who survives. Lisa worked at Jay Huddle Storage for 23 years. She loved gardening, canning, traveling to Georgia to visit her sister Carol, and spending time with her family. Lisa loved her grandchildren unconditionally. Lisa will be greatly missed by her family and many good friends.
  
Lisa is survived by her loving husband Jerry, her daughter Kelly Stephens, and her grandchildren Angel, Kaleb, Adison, John Jr., Cornelia, Angelina, and Jamie Jr., and her great-grandchildren Aubrie, Liam, Maddox, Leilani, Lotus, Adora, Benny and Ainsley, and sister Carol Lee. 
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Melissa Hernandez, brother Gary Emerson, mother-in-law Wilma Gerken, and grandson James Hernandez. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date by the family. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
