Lily Mae Decker, 77, of Defiance, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2015 at her home with her family by her side.  
  
She was born on April 28, 1938 to Theodore Henderson and Flossie (Lawson) Bond in Beckley, WV. Lily was employed at Johns Manville, Campbells Soup Company, Ames Department Store, and Walmart. On December 26, 1985, Lily married Nelson Decker, who survives.

She was a full blooded Christian woman. She practiced God's Word in every aspect of her life. Lily had a beautiful southern voice and sang with her husband Nelson at rest homes. She will be missed dearly.
  
Lily is survived by her loving spouse of almost 30 years, Nelson Decker of Defiance, OH, children, Teresa (Roy) Willitzer of Defiance, OH, James (Linda) Perry of Mansfield, OH, Deb (Don) Varner of Whitehouse, OH, Kim (Robert) DeMoss of Cecil, OH, Dawn (Kevin) Harper of Defiance, OH, James Decker of Puyallup, WA, Lee (Cat) Decker of Defiance, OH, Katie (Jerimie) Dodson of Defiance, OH, 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, siblings, Ruth (Dan Burkhart) Butler, Benny (Shannon) Mahone, Carolyn (Larry) Rice, Brenda Grassick, Diana Hicks, two half brothers, two half sisters, many nieces, nephews, and friends, and her beloved dog, Rusty.
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Tilden T. Perry, 2nd husband, Noah W. Richmond, and her son, Ray Richmond.
  
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio.
    
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at 3:00 pm at the Schaffer Funeral  Home, Defiance, Ohio, with Pastor Randy Wilson, officiating.
  
Burial will take place in the Ayersville Cemetery.
