Lee Roy Boggs Jr.

Lee Roy Boggs Jr., age 54 of Defiance, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 in Defiance, Ohio.   
  
He was born in Michigan on May 16, 1971 to the late Lee and Patricia (Mason) Boggs. Lee worked as a welder for MEC Mayville Engineering Company in Defiance. He was a member of Moose and AmVets in Defiance, and American Legion in Continental. In his leisure time he enjoyed golfing, camping and most of all spending time with his good friends. Lee always had the biggest smile to share, a funny story to tell, and a tremendous sense of humor. He was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns, and he loved following area high school sports. Lee had many friends and colleagues and will be greatly missed by so many that loved him. 
  
Lee is survived by his siblings, Debra Noffsinger, Barbara Mansfield and Cathy (Mark) Dubois, girlfriend Regina Lawhorn, his long-time best friend Matthew Lloyd, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 
  
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Barry Mansfield.
  
A private graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at N. Mount Zion Cemetery in Continental, Ohio. A public Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, September 6th at Continental American Legion.
