Kathleen (O'Neill) Reeves

Kathleen Reeves, age 75 of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2026 in her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born March 21,1951 to Alfred and Gertrude (Goegelman) O’Neill. On June 8,1980 she married William Charles Reeves, who preceded her in death.

Kathleen graduated from Rutgers University with her Bachelor’s and received her registered nursing degree from Excelsior University. Kathleen served as an Emergency Room nurse at Mercy Defiance Hospital until her retirement in 2020. After her retirement, Kathleen was a faithful member and volunteer at St. Mary's Parish.

Kathleen is survived by her loving children, Kelly Reeves of Defiance, Timothy (Crystal) Reeves of Howell, MI, and daughters-in-law, Kim Reeves of Ann Arbor, MI and Robyn Reeves of Toledo, OH.

She was preceded in death by parents Alfred and Gertrude O’Neill, siblings Karen, Allen and Gary O’Neill, husband William Charles Reeves, and son William Colin Reeves.

Visitation will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 10:00 am with a Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00 am. Funeral luncheon to follow the mass.
