Justin Leon Hogan

Justin L. Hogan, age 32 of Sherwood, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at his home.
  
He was born on September 4, 1990 to Frederick "John" and Kathy (Russell) Hogan in Paulding, Ohio. Justin was a 2009 graduate of Fairview High School and Four County Career Center. He worked at Five Acre Mill in Hicksville, Ohio. Justin was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, and he enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and tinkering on cars. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his nephews. Justin will be sadly missed by his family and many good friends.
  
Justin is survived by his parents, John Hogan of Homosassa Springs, FL, and Kathy Hogan of Napoleon, OH, his siblings, Tom Hogan and Tiffany Hogan, both of Defiance, and Tyler (Nicole) Hogan of Napoleon, his nephews, Richie and Connor Hogan, and his grandparents, Rex Russell of Defiance and Kathleen Hogan of Hernando, FL. 
  
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joyce Russell and James Hogan.
  
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service to celebrate his life will follow at 6:00 pm, with Celebrant Deb Miller officiating.
