Julie Waxler-Rennie Obituary

Julie Marie Waxler-Rennie, age 56 of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

She was born in Defiance, Ohio on November 17, 1966 to Rose (Leininger) and William Waxler Sr. Julie was a 1985 graduate of Defiance High School. After college, she lived in Ft. Pierce, Florida for 20 years and worked at Tropicana Products. She was an avid sports enthusiast and a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs, Miami Dolphins and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Julie will be sadly missed by her family and many good friends.

Julie is survived by her parents, William and Rose Waxler of Defiance, her brothers, John Allen (Catherine) Waxler of Nelsonville, OH, and Tom Herbert (Amy Miller) Waxler of Edgerton, OH, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her beloved four-legged child "Dork".

She was preceded in death by her brother, William Waxler Jr.

There will be no services at this time. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to Ft. Defiance Humane Society.
