Joanne E. (Enos) Hubbard-Pion

Joanne E. (Hubbard) Pion, age 93, of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Glenn Park of Defiance.   
  
She was born on September 15, 1931 to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Brown) Enos in Defiance, Ohio. On August 13, 1988 she married Rolly Pion, who preceded her in death on February 26, 2007. 
  
Joanne was a member of Kettenring Country Club. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed golfing, bowling, crafts and horseback riding. She was a social bug who never met a stranger. Joanne treasured her time spent with family and friends. 
  
Joanne is survived by her children, Cynthia Hall of Jacksonville, FL, Thomas (Jean) Hubbard of Defiance, Stephen Hubbard of Defiance, and Deborah (Joe Knight) Hubbard of Bellefontaine, OH, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and her brother, Robert (Nancy) Enos Sr. of South Carolina. 
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Rolly Pion.
  
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Joanne will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery.
