Obituary
Jerry E. Curtice, age 82 of Bryan, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Glenn Park of Defiance.
He was born on June 24, 1940 to the late Cecil and Josephine Curtice in Toledo, Ohio. Jerry was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Bryan, Ohio, and Bryan Eagles #2233. He worked at Ohio Art and then General Tire in Bryan until his retirement. Jerry enjoyed cars, music, the Michigan Wolverines, and visiting the Eagles. He was a skilled card player and avid coin collector.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Russ, Larry and Robert Curtice, and his long-time Companion and Special Friend, Mary Walz.
Jerry was very important in the lives of Mary's children: Steve (Lindsey) Walz, Kris (Bill) Bryant, Karen (Art) Adkins, all of Defiance, and Amy (Nick) Krueger of Minneapolis, MN, and also Mary's ten grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 10:00 am in Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan OH. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
