Jennifer Linn Urban

Jennifer Linn Urban, age 56 of Defiance, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance, Ohio.   
  
She was born in Defiance on April 4, 1969 to the late Martha (Druhot) and Larry Schlosser Sr. Jennifer was a 1987 graduate of Defiance High School and was a devout member of the Defiance Marching Band of Class.

Jennifer worked for several years at Campbell's Soup Company in Napoleon, Ohio. She was a dedicated mother and treasured her time spent with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, crafting, purse bingo, listening to a variety of music, and watching movies. Jennifer loved watching her grandson. 
  
Jennifer will be greatly missed by her loving children, Tyler Wright of Columbus, OH and Alyssa (Cody) Branham of Antwerp, OH, and her grandson, Shepard Branham. She also leaves behind her partner, Jon Pfund, two brothers, Chris Schlosser of Coldwater, MI and Scott Schlosser of Elizabeth City, NC, and her furry feline friend, "Sawyer".  
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Kim Shellenbarger, and brother, Larry Schlosser Jr.
  
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 2-6 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home South, Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S. Clinton Street) in Defiance. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 3rd at the funeral home, with Wayne Cripps officiating. Jennifer will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
