Jennifer Nicole Holifield

Jennifer Nicole Holifield, 37, of Stryker, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Wednesday morning, November 21, 2018 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.   
  
She was born on January 15, 1981 to Claude and Denise (Gerschutz) Holifield in Napoleon, Ohio. Jennifer enjoyed country music, and watching Hallmark movies. She loved horses, and her pet dog Sophie. Jennifer liked to make other people feel special. Everyone that ever met her, loved her.
  
Jennifer will be sadly missed by her parents, Denise and Claude Holifield of Stryker, brother, Lucas (Sandra) Holifield of Napoleon, four nephews; Tucker, Brayden, Corbin, and Hayden Holifield, two step-nephews; Clayton and David Ellis Jr, grandmother, Mary Lee Holifield of Defiance, grandfather, Jerome (Helen) Gerschutz of Holgate, several aunts and uncles, godmother, Deb Butler of Napoleon, and special friends, Missy Moore of Defiance, Chris Weber of Napoleon, and Janice Hoffer of Napoleon. 
  
She was preceded in death by her nephew, Zayne Holifield, grandfather, Charles Holifield, and grandmother, Linda Clark.
  
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on  Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home,  with Pastor Monte Moore officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.
