Jeffery A. Berry

Jeffery Allen Berry, age 68 of Sherwood, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.   
  
He was born in Bryan, Ohio on August 6, 1956 to Jack and Dorothy (Jack) Berry. Jeff proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1973-1976. On June 30, 1990 he married Lisa Corwin who survives. 
  
Jeff worked for several years at General Motors until his retirement in 2015. He enjoyed watching football and working on his tractor. He loved spending time with his family, especially with the grandkids.
  
Jeff is survived by his loving wife Lisa Berry of Sherwood, and his children, William Berry of Pennsylvania, Michael (Holly Wymer) Berry of Aberdeen, MD, Tyler (Shabrie Moyer) Coressel of Antwerp, and April Coressel of Paulding. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Bret, Bradley, Hayley, Breanna, Brenden and Mason Berry, Xander Pedraza, Madeline, Ruby and Hazel Coressel, and four sisters, Jeri Aliff, Barbara Berry, Laurie Unger and Dawn Goodwin. 
  
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Dorothy Berry.
  
A private graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
