Gerald "Jerry" Linebrink, age 78, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center. He was the husband of Ann (Hohenberger) Linebrink. They shared 54 years of marriage together.
Born in Defiance, he was the son of Ira and Mabel (Beindorf) Linebrink. He was a graduate of Ayersville High School and was employed at Diehl Inc for 34 years as a laborer.
Jerry was a member of North Mount Zion church. He enjoyed his family, God, cars, camping, and was an avid reader. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and the memories he created.
Jerry is survived by his wife Ann Linebrink of Defiance, daughter Holly (Don) Karcher also of Defiance; as well as 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ira and Mabel Linebrink, brothers Richard (Pat) Linebrink, Clarence (Diane) Linebrink, and Marvin Linebrink; as well as his sisters Virginia (Floyd) Buff and Dorothy (Robert) Thomas.
The visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 4pm-8pm at Schaffer Funeral Home South, Lawson-Roessner Chapel (1753 S. Clinton Street). The funeral will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11am with visitation one hour prior.
