Frederick L. Seal, Jr.

Frederick L. "Freddie" Seal, Jr., age 66, of Ashland, Ohio,  passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 at his residence. 
  
He was born on August 26, 1956 to Frederick and Patricia (Rohda) Seal in Wauseon, Ohio. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and worked as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for over 10 years. He then worked as a Researcher for Charles River Laboratories for over 35 years.  Freddie enjoyed gardening as well as going out to eat and spending quality time with his family. He will be greatly missed by many family members and friends.

Frederick is survived by his siblings, Cheryl Liebherr of Zebulon, North Carolina, Edward Seal and Debra (Harry) McMillan both of Hamilton, Indiana, Lori Carroll  and Linda Seal, both of Evansport, Ohio, nieces, Kathryn Buelow and Annessa Wilcox nephews, Michael Flory, Daniel McMillan and Samuel Carroll, his great-niece, several great-nephews and a special friend, Heather Thompson of Ashland, Ohio.
  
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephews, Stephen Seal and Edward Liebherr.
  
Visitation will be held  on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 11:00am - 1:00 pm with the funeral service following immediately at 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, Ohio with Pastor Nico Kinner officiating.
     
Burial will take place at Evansport Cemetery.
