Edna M. Roehrig

Edna M. Roehrig, age 90 of Defiance, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2022.    
  
She was born on March 2, 1932 to the late Fred and Edith (Williamson) Rau in Paulding, Ohio. On February 24, 1954 she married Paul Roehrig, who survives. 
  
Edna was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and VFW #3360 Auxiliary. She enjoyed shopping and seasonal decorating, and loved going to Clear Lake for the summer with her family. Edna treasured her time spent with her family was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
  
Edna is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Paul Roehrig of Defiance, and her children; Connie (Rick) Weaver, Julie (Ron) Burk, Teresa (Chris) Tyler, and Paul (Laurie) Roehrig II, all of Defiance, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and her sisters, Doris Kramer of Iron Mountain, MI, and Judy Rau of Sherwood, OH. 
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
  
Services and burial for Edna will be private. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
