Duncan "Scott" W. Campbell

Duncan W. "Scott" Campbell, age 77 of Defiance, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Bryan Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.   

He was born on March 31, 1947 to the late Neil and Barbara Marie (Weiler) Campbell in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Elton Pigeon Bay Port High School in 1965 and proudly earned his Associates Degree from Oakland Community College. On December 14, 1970 he married Marylou Warren who preceded him in death on October 28, 2001. 

Duncan worked at General Motors for 33 years until his retirement. He loved tractor pulls and was a member of Tri-State Tractor Pulling Association and Northwestern Ohio Tractor Pullers Association. He enjoyed NASCAR and watching sports. He treasured his time spent with his family and taking care of his dogs.

Duncan is survived by his children, Scott (Kris) Campbell of Defiance and Grace Campbell of Caro, MI, and four grandchildren, Ryan, Garrett, Ian and Carter. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Marylou Campbell, brothers Robert and Neil Campbell, his sister Shirley Drummond, and his four-legged friend Jack.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in Michigan at a later date.
