Don worked for over 31 years for the Ohio Rehabilitation Commission. He was a man of deep faith and devoted to his family, loved people and helping them in any way he could.  He enjoyed talking with people and never knew a stranger. Don had a passion for sailing with family and friends.  He enjoyed Siberian Huskies, spending many hours walking and exploring the countryside or neighborhood with "Chewy" by his side. Don loved music and singing in the church choir, also playing classical accordion. Don had earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art and Design from Valparaiso University. He learned to make stained glass windows for churches. He enjoyed working with wood and remodeling homes, and he loved Corvettes.

He enjoyed living his last years at Glenn Park where he enjoyed knowing the many people and walking "Chewy", greeting many friends and staff everyday. There was also an endless supply of cookies.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 17 years Mary Jagow of Defiance, his sons Hans (Tamera) Jagow of Tucson, AR, Aaron (Gena) Jagow of Bentonville, VA. and his grandchildren, Saylor, Liberty, Atlas, Ace, Marcella, and Thomas.
