Diane M. Hall

Diane M. Hall, 80, of Defiance, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Mercy Defiance Hospital.

She was born on August 6, 1944 to Mahlon and Jean (Haas) Hall in Defiance, Ohio. Diane was a 1962 graduate of Defiance High School and worked for 18 years at LaChoy Foods in Archbold until her retirement in 1995. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing cards, gambling, reading, hummingbirds and flowers, being outdoors and doing yard work. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandkids and grand dogs.

Diane is survived by her loving daughters Jenny (Tim Clevenger) Wedekind of Defiance and Valerie (Jeff Killian) Wiemken of Napoleon, her grandchildren; Vanessa Wiemken, Mark (Aimee) Wiemken and Mathew Wiemken. She also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren; Lyla, Lana, Dylan, Alexis, Giselle, Joycelynn, Zeke, Ana, Madison, McKenna, Melody and Karson, 11 grand dogs, her twin sister Mary Ann Hall, and sisters Linda (Robert) Wagner, Connie Brands, Lori Linebrink and Becky (Dave) Hoschak.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Douglas, Philip and Larry Hall, and brothers-in-law, Gary Brands and Bill Linebrink.

There will be no services at this time. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
