David Vernon "Dave" Pollock, 78, of Defiance, passed away on Saturday May 3, 2025 at his residence.
He was born on November 13, 1946 to Stanley and Beatrice (Klienhen) Pollock at Defiance, OH. On September 25, 1971 he married Norma Baden and she survives.
After high school Dave went to Barber School in Florida then worked in the maintenance department at Johns Manville for 38 years until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Defiance. Dave proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968. He was a member of the Defiance VFW Post #3360 and on the Honor Guard Squad for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson Caden. Dave and Norma liked to travel, with an Alaskan Cruise being their favorite trip.
David is survived by his loving wife Norma, son Mark (Robin) Pollock of Wauseon, OH, daughter Shelly Pollock, and grandson, Caden Pollock, both of Defiance.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Greg Pollock.
A Graveside Service for Dave will be held at a later date.
